To celebrate its centenary year, Queens University Polytechnic College, Cambridge awarded Dave Perry, Computer Games Industry supremo an honorary degree.
The prestigious but meaningless piece of paper was due to be officially handed out at a plush ceremony earlier today. Unfortunately both Dave and David Perry turned up to collect the award, and a nasty drubbing incident ensued.
“I’M the real Dave Perry” said Dave Perry, rolling up his sleeves and squaring up to David Perry.
“Fack afff, you’re just some has been that used to be on Gamesmaster” shouted David Perry. Before long, both Daves were rolling around on the floor pulling at each other like a couple of pre-pubescent schoolgirls, much to the horror / delight of the gathered audience.
The incident ended abruptly when David Perry managed to wrestle Dave Perry’s headscarf off, revealing a ginger comb-over of biblical proportions, held in place by one single spit-encrusted strand.
Queens University Polytechnic College of Further Education issued a press statement later on, apologising for the confusion and embarrasement stating that it actually meant the degree to go to David Perry, ex Trend Micros supremo and fat piece of crap (pictured below) who was completely unaware of the awards ceremony and was holidaying in Caprice at the time.
