That scene is so odd. You’re thrust into it – as you are with much of the game, with very little character development or context but expected to somehow magically invest emotionally with the “heroes”.

It’s a good fun little shooter, but that’s it.

And now I’m being lambasted at Boomtown for discussing politics in my review of a game that’s full of politics. Serves me right for reading comments – going to have to hire someone to do that once the relaunch happens.
